Hi Adult & Samurai Students,

I hope you all are having a fun and productive experience at our Academy. I would like to congratulate those of you who have trained consistently and diligently during the year. You have all shown both improvement and progress in Karate-Do. I hope you have all reached the goals that you set yourselves at the beginning of 2009. On your approach, I look forward to discussing your goals at the Academy for 2010.

To assist you with your forward planning, I have outlined below the Academy Calendar for the end of 2009 and the beginning of 2010.

For those who are unfamiliar with Kagami Baraki Training, it is simply the first training session of the year where all students make a special effort to attend in an expression to set a personal example to themselves for the year and also where they can exchange greetings with fellow students at the Kagami Baraki party that follows the training. Please bring a plate of healthy food to share at the table for both Kagami Baraki and the End of Year Party. Dips, Biscuits, Christmas Fruit, Savouries Cakes etc etc.
