As with all Karate classes for Little Leopards and The Dragons, classes will continue to include activities of ‘EDU-TAINMENT’ value (fun education)! Not a Module to miss, ‘Understanding Leadership’ will be an extremely valuable experience for all the children to start their year with in the development of general etiquette, behaviour and interaction in society!

This area of study will work in parallel and supportively to the AAMA wholistic facilitation in developing: individually in behaviour; fitness; co-operation with others; relaxation; technical abilities; etc. These areas will be developed through:

- Incorporated karate games and technical activities to compliment their Personal Growth and Understanding of Self;
- Extremely fun Gladiator Games encouraging interpersonal development between the children;
- Continued exercises and understanding of relaxation exercises to calm and centre the children;
- Of course continue activities under channeled and disciplined behaviour management;
- Develop fitness this module specifically with: Strength of lower body, overall cardio-vascular endurance and general flexibility.

On top of all these activities that are developed in strategic weekly planned lessons with incorporated review weeks, the children will continue developing and understanding taking responsibility and accountability for their actions and practice, that importantly, will continually relax the family relationships and prevent conflict involved at home and school.

Tremendous Success for the AAMA Children's Red Stripes Program!

The Children's Red Stripes Program has been at the Australian Academy of Martial Arts for the past couple of years now and we have received a tremendous amount of support and positive feedback from the Programme from not only our Parents but the Children also! - would you believe students approach teachers asking when they can do the next Red Stripe task like: Cleaning their Room, Answering Mum and Dad and Being Grateful?

This is just a taste of the feedback from our Parents:

"Our kids have been trying very hard to respect older people and this task from your Academy will support them even more. THANK YOU!"

"Fantastic task. Makes for a very well behaved child."

"Thanks for taking the time to speak to ***** about achieving her red stripes. She has totally changed her mind about cleaning her room. Her effort is now amazing!"

"Love the Red Stripe Programme, ***** responds very well to it!"

The Academy over the last couple of years has revised the Programme to suit lifestyles of our Academy families and also to maximise the impact of our Programme on the behaviour of our Children. We now have 'checkpoints' for all 3 of the Children's classes where each class completes certain tasks at certain grades - not every grade.

Here are some tasks used through the checkpoints: Clean Your Room; Do it the First Time; Yes Mum/ Yes Dad; Respect for Teachers; Say Thank You and I Love You; Above and Beyond!

Call our office for more information regarding this Priceless Programme
used for our 3 Children's Classes: 3 - 6 Years, 7 - 11 Years, 12 - 17 Years!
