With the Karate Australia National Titles less than 1 week away Team Queensland has been honing their skills in preparation. Australian Academy Of Martial Arts Karate-Do Club Inc. - AAMA has been a proud member of Karate Queensland and this year we were very proud to again share our amazing facility as the training base at Mt Gravatt, for the State Team as they prepare. On behalf of all of us at AAMA we wish every competitor the very best as they take on the nations best. Good luck to all of the coaches and referees/judges for the event also as they represent Qld.

AAMA students benefited from a special kumite kihon training session on Sunday afternoon with guest instructor Ayaka Tadano. Ayaka was a member of the Japanese national kumite team for 7 years (2015 to 2021) , WKF Premier League Gold Medalist 2015, 2016 and 2018 and the WKF Series "A" dual gold medalist in 2019. The 2st hour of the 2 hour training session worked through the warm-up routine of the Japan National Kumite Team.
